Tuesday, November 18, 2008 - Popped and poured for initial taste. Decanted and server from decanter over the next hour.

Dark purple in the glass. No signs of bricking.

Strong nose of old world cab. Nice dark fruit, barnyard, leather, a hint of oak. Full-bodied on the palate with more dark fruit, spice, earth, and someone at the table picked up violets. Tannins are very strong and dominate the longish finish.
