Friday, July 2, 2010 - from Magnum. a quiet nose to start. a subtle brown lees that i may be imagining in its age. subtle kerosene and mineral driven nose. water texture upfront and waxy at the mid-palate and finish. an ashen minerality on the finish. pleasure of subtlety and texture here. "pear and cinnamon" from Ben. very nice as we all thought this would be D.E.A.D. The 2004 vintage was bottled into 550 magnums. No mention of 750s!!!! 2004 appears to be the first vintage of Pedrouzos.

9/21/2011 6:17:00 PM - There's no 750's, all bottles are magnums... average of 500-700 mags/per year. It's just a rarity bottle of wine and very difficult to get a hold of... even here in Spain.. and even at €70-80. Enjoy.
