Sunday, March 11, 2012 - Dark ruby red color. popped and aerated into glasses. Drank 2 glasses over an hour. Nose has sweet vanilla, red fruits of currant and cherry, earth, very light pepper. The palate is more medium bodied with cherry, and red currants, very smooth, balanced, pepper on the long finish. This was quite elegant and very enjoyable.
