Thursday, May 15, 2014 - This is a pretty good Priorat. Nose is big and rich with lots of cassis, plum, vanilla, toast, and some dusty earth. The palate is rich and unctuous, yet still remains somewhat balanced. To me this is not all that exciting of a wine, no real sense of place (blind I would have guessed Cali cab probably), and simply made in a big, modern style that while tasting fine is pretty ubiquitous.
