Wednesday, January 13, 2016 - Monthly Tasting Group HWS #105; Priorat (By RvD): Beautiful bouquet with dark fruits like blackberries and leather. On the palate dark forest fruits, red berries and cherries as well, a lot of sweet spices, vanilla, chocolate and flint stone minerals. Firm and fresh acidity and still slightly sticky tannin. Most of the tasters thought this was the best and most elegant wine of the flight. Maturity stage now, but it can easily last another few years. Unfortunately it was my last bottle. 91 - 92
