Wednesday, March 25, 2009 - Very light yellow for this age. Lots of citrus with a hint of both pineapple and pear on the nose. Medium weight, the texture is completely harmonious, amazingly dry without being at all shrill. Just a bit of late arriving sweetness and honey. Excellent acidity. Relaxed, calm, and laid back rather than assertive in either aromatics or flavor, but wonderfully fresh and well balanced. I'm so happy I had a chance to try a pristine example after the only other bottle that was corked. This could still go on for a while.
