Friday, February 26, 2010 - Double decanted for 16 hours. Almost black in color. Nose of boysenberries, blackberries, meat, and herbs. This is just sublime on the palate as it glides across with utmost precision. The fruit comes in layers and is so so powerful, but not out of balance, grilled meat juice, tamarind chutney, herbs, and espresso. The finish is long and powerful lingering black pepper and espresso. This will be something special in a few years.
