Sunday, December 11, 2011 - Decanted 6 hours. Drank over 1.5 with a great Italian meal - went very well with risotto and also the duck. Huge and ripe fruits. Heat initially that slowly blew off. Great nose you just keep going back to. Nicely balanced funk and earth with the fruit. Smooth and creamy in the mouth. Dried fruits, figs, strawberry. Spices. Very complex and deep, yet not "heavy". Kept going back always. 5 more left, will give it a few years. Not a crime to drink today, with proper decant.
