Community Tasting Note

Friday, June 13, 2014 - Not the best bottle with a rather low fill around the 5-6cm mark. Cork completely soaked. PnP. Great color, looks a good 20 years younger than it is, with a solid garnet and only very light browning at the rim. Interesting nose, blind would have guessed a white, perhaps a mature Chablis and not a left bank red. Slightly oxidized notes but not too bad. Some red fruit on the palate and again a bit oxidization. Some fine tannins shows after about 1h in the open botlle. NR - am sure you can find better bottles.
