Monday, May 23, 2016 - This is good stuff, broad palate. More fine pinot, than the Charlopin VV 05 tasted just before, but in a way that is not necessarily better. This is simply more classic. Some rusticity but class peaks through and the wine lingers nicely. Previous tasting notes give accurate descriptors. I like where the wine is right now in its evolution, but can see this becoming a bit more complete (especially on the finish) in 2/3 years. Paid EUR45 for this and in Burg land that's a steal. Coravin sample, next bottle needs at least 1 hour of air.
