There was some decent fruit underneath, but not much acidity. Just based on this bottle I'd have to guess that this wine was all surface and no structure at first, and consequently hasn't aged well. Based on other reviews, maybe this was just bottle variation. I have one more bottle, so I'll see if that one is better.
