Friday, June 7, 2013 - med garnet color; nose of figs, herbs, tart red cherry/pomegranate juice; first flavors follow the nose, add light spices, tart red cherry, hint of stewed strawberry ; med body, light balanced finish, complex "echo" of the first impressions; med long, crisp finish, tartness more than "weight"; very balanced wine, maybe 5 yrs beyond "fruitiness" prime but at a very good place for me
