Friday, October 21, 2011 - Tried first 1 of 6. Decanted 5 hours. Nose was dark fruit and seemed a bit alcoholic. Not sure this wine is very integrated right now. Dark fruits, earth, chocolate / vanilla. A touch of meat & barn funk...acid. Agreed with others than it seemed mute in the middle. It is silky though, reasonable tannins. A touch disappointed right now, will wait a while for the next.
