Sunday, April 6, 2014 - Gamy on the nose. Black berries, licorice, grilled meats, and forest floor, with a bit of lift. The palate is rich but not too much so, delineated and well-balanced. Drinking very well now. Looking at the professional tasting notes while the wine was young, they describe a wild and brambly wine. It seems to have settled down quite a bit since then. I really enjoyed where it is right now.
