Friday, December 25, 2015 - Immediate nose of blackcurrants - one of the most dominating fruit smells straight from the bottle in some time. Once poured, the secondary aromas come to the forefront though with some musty old aromas hinting at a wine that could be 30 years old rather than the decade this is. Leathers, tobacco, and vintage antique wood.

Medium to full bodied with definite kick. Still fruity with cherries and blackcurrants, but sweet currants,  mushrooms and Christmas cake come through. Tannins are well integrated but still remain and stick to the teeth for some time post each mouthful.

I drank this to celebrate Christmas with my mother and wife in Malaysia.

Can be drunk now, but suspect has another 10 years at least. Drink 2015-2025+
