Friday, January 17, 2014 - What a lovely old Pinot. On opening, at its best shortly after. Even deepens in colour. That sweet old pinot taste. Earthiness. Hint of Indonesian spice. Tart cranberry and redcurrant. Rather quickly heads to mahogany and fades. Excellent length. Think it shows the ageing potential for present day Tasmanian pinot, bit like a time machine. A joy.
