Friday, May 14, 2010 - Love this wine from my all-time favorite napa vintage, 1995. Brought and drank at a cal-cab vs. bordeaux tasting. The Ridge was one of the standouts. Nice color and fruit, great balance with the right acidity and sweet tannins showing. Compared alongside a 1995 behringer reserve (which was also excellent and peaking) and a 1986 Leoville Las Cases (very nice and mellow) . The Ridge is drinking great now and probably will last several more years.
