Sunday, March 1, 2015 - Popped and poured. This is a robust black wine with modest sediment at the end of the bottle. On the nose, I get plum sauce, tobacco, and some secondary aromas of old chest that are much like a nice Bordeaux. In the mouth, the acid leads with some medium fruit leading into a spicy finish. Overall, this is a good wine albeit one that may be on the decline. 92 points.
