Friday, January 24, 2014 - Bought on release and cellared. Perfect level. Opened with dinner. Rich in colour for a Riesling, smells glorious; meadows, stones, Alsace. Great balance of richness and purity, butter and minerality. Cuts through Jamon Iberico with perfect acidity. Caught between adolescence and maturity the 1990 vintage really suits this wine, albeit intense. A wine to while your life way with.
