91 Points

Sunday, July 26, 2015 - Inky dark with a cedar dominant nose. Dry and tart with puckering tannins on the PnP, 88 pts. Tight as can be with oak overpowering the fruit. Let's see how a day helps. Starting to evolve in the glass with purple fruits and some lemon. Tasted on day 2 and needs a lot of time.
Sitting on the counter close to a week, and it is showing super tonight. No change on the nose, but full bodied and subtle at the same time, the tannins have integrated, lush blackberry fruit with a tart blackberry pie sweetness showing. No rough edges, great with food.
