I figured either Cali Pinot or ripe '09 Chambolle; with some time, figured this to be New World Pinot. Fine for what it is. If I had more, I'd bury in the cellar for at least another 3-5 years. My father used to say, "California wines taste of the sun, French wines taste of the earth". This was clearly the former.
