Monday, December 24, 2012 - Aerated to decanter 2 hours. Terribly young right now, but I'm glad I looked in on it. Stem, raspberry, blackberries, toast, roast beef. Medium toward full bodied, certainly not a jammy, in-your-face fruit bomb (yay!), but rather a wine made in the vineyard, not the cellar. A lot to admire here, with a nose that portends really good stuff is yet to come. Polished and understated, old world manners. Looking forward to drinking this again in 18 months. 14,2% abv, recommended, drink thru 2017
