Friday, March 28, 2014 - Ruby appearance. Lush, mouthwatering aromas of red currants, cherries, oak, cedar, and toast. Lots of black fruit on a mid-to-full weight frame. Very Bordeaux-like, tensing up a bit on the dark chocolate finish. Integrated and balanced, with fruit masking the alcohol. Expected a bit more complexity but charming nonetheless.
