Saturday, March 15, 2008 - Way too much Oak. Which is too bad, because there is some interesting good fruit underneath there.

2 hours in decanter.... OK, some of the oak is blowing off and integrating better. the strong herbal nose is relaxed to a garrigue/flower shop note... can still smell the oak though... but not bothersome now. Very juicy acidity, tanginess, and some unique citrus fruits... a bit too much heat on the back end... probably too young or did not decant long enough.
