Community Tasting Note

Thursday, December 11, 2014 - popped and poured, unable to enjoy (raw like cheap wine, although over $30), corked back up for cooking wine, happily drank the smooth stags leap artemis instead, and the penner ash 2011 pinot noir. It was ok for cooking though, since not bad tasting, just not smooth enough for enjoyable drinking.

ok, i drank the last taste after being open 2 days and it was actually good. reminder to be patient with bordeaux wines.

edit in 2022: I was puzzled by re-reading this review of mine, until I noticed the subtle similarity between this wine name and that of the wonderful Chateau Lagrange (St Julien) 2006.
