Saturday, March 16, 2013 - Decanted and drank over 4 hours. After about an hour, a wonderfully bright nose of red fruit, smoke, black fruit with lots of spice emerged. The palate was dense and concentrated, holding back lots of layers. Plenty of spice and candied cherries in a dense core of fruit. Very long lingering finish. Very Leroy, very sexy. Interestingly, with more time in the glass, the tannins seemed to become more apparent but were never bothersome.
