Friday, June 7, 2013 - Still very primary. Strong, strong sharp red fruit, pinot funk, and dirt on the nose with a hit of alcohol. Red fruit, some vanilla, earth, black spice, and a strong note of alcohol. Lower acid. Nicely long finish. A little too fruit forward for me. Should be good for a few more years but with the low acid, I don't believe it will last 10.
