Sunday, April 25, 2010 - Very serious, concentrated stuff. Decanted for an hour and then poured through a Respirer. Captivating aromatics of berries, lush florals, licorice, and a hint of oakey vanilla. Opaque, dark, and brooding. Completely coats the mouth with a velvet feel lush with dark fruits, currants, and cassis. Fine, integrated tannins help make it a long finish. Has the potential to become a 96+ with time, but is drinking great now.
