Saturday, March 13, 2010 - This bottle had been in my cellar for about three years and I had not tasted it since I have begun developing my wine palate. I took it to a friend's retirement party, where it was very well received - it disappeared a lot faster than the extra dry sparkly I also took. This was sweeter than I remembered it - and that is certainly due to my greater experience with dry wines in the years since I last tried it. Nonetheless, I found the Asti very tasty - citrus and peach on the tongue with a very pleasant tingle. Not a particularly complex wine - certainly not pretentious - but a good, fun wine for parties, and at a great price.
