Sunday, September 19, 2010 - Mistral French Bistro Dinner with Allen Meadows (Vancouver, BC): Right off the bat your senses are blasted with pronounced aromas of stalks and stems with cool red fruits underlying. After a few minutes notes of celery and cinnamon start to come through on this extremely vegetal nose. This profile is carried through on the palate but to a much lesser extent. Doesn’t have the concentration of the Clos de Tart but shares its elegance. Powdery and mouth drying tannins. Needs time. Very good. 89+
