Saturday, January 4, 2014 - A beautiful Calif Zinfandel from this great producer.
Nose of raspberry, plum, dark chocolate and tobacco.
Palate echoes the nose, showing red and blue fruits, cigar box a hint of orange zest, following through with nice med acidity and a med length finish with perfectly ripened fruits and soil tones.
This is a fantastic Calif Zin, drinking beautifully now and will continue to do so through 2016 or so, probably longer.
