Sunday, January 18, 2015 - Decanted for 3 hours. Deeply colored with a thin, slightly dusty edge. Subtle but very complex aromatics include spice, earth and a touch of roasted meat. Soft and gently sweet on entry, the flavors feature tart red cherries, sweet spice and a vibrant core of laser focused flavors. Quite elegant and poised. The tannins are well absorbed and the finish goes on and on. A really lovely example with plenty of positive potential ahead. Drink 2017 to 2025.
