Tuesday, January 4, 2011 - Tasted almost exactly 1yr ago. Expressive floral nose with lavender, raspberry, strawberries with a touch of orange rind. Palate was surprisingly thin in comparison to the nose, but nicely acidic and refreshing. Strong red fruits are forward, with touch of pepper and toast. Nice lengthy finish with toast and vanilla, red fruits, and citrus. A nice effort, though maybe a little thinner and less peppery than last year.
