Thursday, May 10, 2012 - I have had this wine maybe 8-10 times with a few truly staggering bottles. This was at the next level. I really cannot put into words how far beyond normal wine this went. Surreal. Mindblowing. Staggering. The definition of perfect. Blood, plum and meat move to black pepper, smoke, and roasted and smoky beast. The palate is both deep and utterly fresh and silky. This was a pinnacle expression of Hermitage, shoot me now, wow.
