Sunday, October 22, 2006 - Four Northern Rhone reds tasted, second place. Very inky red in the glass, nose opened slowly but steadily throughout the afternoon, lots of dark fruit with hints of cedar and spice, more of the same on the palate, mouth filling and delicious tasting, just sip and savor. long finish, lovely impression, still young, will easily age for five more years.
