Highly aromatic and powerful nose of ripe, black berries and cassis with damp earth, leather, roasted game and very dark spices. Rip and full of power on the palate as well. Very dark and muscular with great texture. Fantastic acidity. Full bodied with a long gripping finish. The best bottle I can remember having of this wine.
