Sunday, October 10, 2010 - Boerne Wine Club - Zinfandel (Scenic Loop Cafe, San Antonio, TX): Some heat on the nose with currants and a slight pepper note. Ripe dark fruit palate with some rich toast flavors. Slightly clipped and simple finish. Doesn’t have the complexity of the other Zins and suffers in comparison, but an enjoyable wine.
