Wednesday, June 16, 2010 - Pale/medium ruby core, slight purple tint, pale ruby/purple rim. Attractively ripe strawberry fruit, some darker black cherry notes. Bright and fresh with a hint of vanilla and minerality. Medium bodied on the palate, slightly crunchy pure red fruits - strawberry, some raspberry, hint of vanilla, decent depth and some generosity here, fine tannins, good length fresh finish with a hint of minerality. Elegant and graceful, quintessential Chambolle.
