Friday, August 25, 2006 - This wine was puzzling. It was much more reserved than the Dunn when opened and took about three hours in the decanter to come around, drank really well between the 3-4 hour point and then it kind of fell apart by the end of the night. Lot’s of plums on the nose, which turned a little pruney at the end. Once aerated the palate was lush but not very delineated just kind of one dimensional. This was a 93-94 point wine for about an hour before it got clumsy. 92 pts.
