Friday, April 20, 2012 - shared with pat at selkirk manor to celebrate the end of the work week. never had this vintage before. this is a better than average montepulciano d'abruzzo and one of the better efforts from zaccagnini. wish i had bought more. it is robust from the outset and builds with 15 minutes of air. very aromatic. lots of dark fruit. firm finish. still young. could probably even go another year.
