Saturday, May 14, 2011 - Perfumed nose of violets, a lot of barnyard and smoke and a little raisiny and sour on the finish. Good acidity and tannins come through although not immediately. Powerful yet elegant. Definitely has character. Last bottle was more refined and less barnyardy.
