Saturday, December 12, 2015 - Beautiful wine. Very well integrated and even. Very nice Grenache on the palate front-end. After looking this wine up, I found that it is 75% Grenache, 12% Mouvedre, and 11% Syrah. I would have guessed more Syrah based on how the mid-palate stayed bright and moved from a typical Grenache edge to a smoother fruit profile. Just shows how complicated Rhones can be; a big part of the fun and surprises along the way. The wine finishes with nice tannins. Great food wine. Great sipping wine.
