Friday, February 13, 2015 - Short, 30 minute decant. Good color...dark though. Cherry pie with a lightly burned crust, black tea, forest floor, mint. Medium body. Nice finish. Tannins are still rather firm. Characteristic acidity to the style. Went very well with parsnip ravioli and braised beef cheeks. This bottle has been stored in a passive cellar since release and, based off this experience, has quite a long life ahead of it. Drink or hold.
