palate: nothing like I expected, this was very lemon-limey, with intense citrus, but barely an evidence of the oaky richness I always taste in Vilmart. While it did have heft, the citrus was practically overpowering. Not sure of the base vintages, but this was disgorged in 2012. Perhaps just too new.
