Monday, February 2, 2009 - A note on Vilmart Champagnes. He makes his "basic" Grand Cellier (which is the cheapest available in the American market) as well as making the Grand Cellier d'Or. The Grand Cellier usuall has a gold label, the Cellier d'Or a black one. Well, whichever you have been drinking this is outstanding Champagne. I would easily choose this over the multi-vintage Krug, and perhaps even over vintage Krung. And it is a 1/4 of the multi-vintages price!
