2007 Clos Mogador Priorat

Community Tasting Note

92 Points

Thursday, December 20, 2012 - It was a gret time to check in on this wine. No doubt it was a bit of infanticide but considering the crowd this was opened with, this wine stood up spectacularly well.

Nose, while never shy, develops over time, first it was primary fruits, a bit of barnyardiness, funkiness, spicy and some licorice. On the palate, there is a great density of fruit, spices, very fresh still, tight and not all together entirely but made a good presentation of itself. Great length and good acidity for structure.
