Very intense flavors with rich, concentrated, ripe black fruit, licorice, chocolate, moist earth and herbs. Very sweet fruit - actually just a bit sweet for my palate, but hard not to like all the richness. Slightly drying, sweet tannins and a long fruity finish. More power than elegance, this is a monster of a wine. 94-95
