Friday, May 6, 2016 - Decanted for two hours and tasted blind. Garnet, purple tinge and watery rim. Blackcurrant fruit, tar and bonfire ashes on the nose, brilliant intense blackcurrant flavours, pepper, warming, cedar finish. A comforting, superbly balanced wine, excellent.
