Thursday, April 29, 2004 - Tasted at yesterday's Geyser Peak Blind Tasting Challenge. The retailer was selling this for $63. Ruby red color. Classic Bordeaux nose of tobacco, dill, earth, and cassis. Lots of oak on the palate, with a hint of charcoal. Thick, chewy, and dense. Got better with air time. Nice weighty, balanced, and serious Pomerol. My favorite of the flight.
