90 Points

Thursday, December 31, 2009 - Pale straw color, tight, long lasting bubbles, clean on the pallet with a citrus finish. Tasted side by side with the 2006 Schramsberg Blanc de Noir, highlighting the differences between the varietal blends. Blanc de Noir was slightly more golden in color, exhibited a bit more depth and more yeast in the finish. For my money, Schramsberg produces the finest sparkling wine in the US in the absence of S. Anderson.
